Circuit Class

Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday

45 min class | All level and abilities

Circuit classes will consist of a warm-up/stretch, interval training for approximately 30 min and a cool-down/stretch at the end.

What do I need for this class?

  • Proper exercise clothing and shoes (can also be done in bare feet)
  • A mat, towel or blanket for core exercises and stretching to lie on
  • Water and a workout towel (optional)

Hatha Yoga

Every Tuesday

60 min class | All levels and abilities

Hatha Yoga classes will consist of a variety of seated and standing poses and mini flows to strengthen and lengthen the muscular body.

What do I need for this class? 

  • Comfortable clothing
  • A Yoga mat, towel or blanket
  • A pillow or cushion to sit on

Yin Yoga

Every Thursday

60 min class | All levels and abilities

Yin Yoga is a deep stretch class to help lengthen the deeper connective tissues in the body at the joints (tendons and ligaments). Poses are often lying down or seated and a more relaxed approach is taken to the muscular body. Poses in this class are usually held for 3 min.

What do I need for this class?

  • Comfortable clothing – layers and socks are recommended as we don’t move as much in this class
  • A Yoga mat, towel or blanket
  • A pillow or cushion to sit on

Meet your instructors

Carrie Brown

Carrie Brown is a Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher with over 20 years combined experience.

Carrie works with clients of all levels and prides herself in offering modifications so clients can move regardless of their injuries or ailments in their bodies. Carrie incorporates her yoga background into her routines along with a variety of intensity options in order to keep the body as pain free as possible. She thrives on her clients’ successes and their passion for change and looks forward to helping new clients find their love for fitness.

Courtney Aucoin

Courtney is 23 years old and has recently moved to Ottawa from the Niagara region.

In September, she will be starting law school at the University of Ottawa. Courtney is passionate about living an active lifestyle and motivating those around her to reach their own personal objectives. In her free time, she enjoys working with young athletes on their personal fitness and technical skills on and off the field. She continues to use her knowledge of physical conditioning by leading fitness sessions in a group setting and one-on-one.

She is eager to share some innovative ways for you to stay active during these uncertain times!

Isabelle Boucher

Isabelle Boucher is a stand-up paddle board and yoga teacher. She teaches on ground and on water, in the river (yoga on stand-up paddle board). She is certified RYT200 with the “Yoga Alliance”, an international yoga association. Always looking for refinement, she continues her training to obtain her RYT500 certification.

Isabelle offers Hatha and Vinyasa yoga sessions, with a touch of humour.

The yoga sessions are designed for all levels. Whether you are beginners or that you practice regularly, choices of poses are offered to accommodate you. Isabelle will guide you with a smile, a few challenges and the best Savasana (her favorite pose). You will come out of your session energized.

She is looking forward to practice with you!
