InterRent REIT has a deep history of giving back to the community

At the local, regional and national levels we are involved in improving the community and the lives of people where we own and operate. We strongly believe that we are stewards of the future and that we must always strive to improve our neighbourhoods and help those succeed around us.

The Boys & Girls Club

InterRent REIT supports the Boys & Girls Club and its mission to provide safe, supportive places for children and youth. We are honoured to be involved in this organization in several cities across Ontario, including Ottawa, London, Toronto and St. Catharines and have raised over $1.5 million to contribute to their cause.

Hope Beach Volleyball

InterRent enters 2 teams into HOPE’s flagship Volleyball SummerFest event. Each year, more than 25,000 players and spectators flock to Mooney’s Bay Beach in Ottawa for this combination of volleyball and live entertainment. These participants have helped HOPE donate over $3.5 million in support of more than 110 local charities.

Food drives

We participate in a variety of different food drives throughout various cities within our core markets. The success is driven by not only our employees but also through our residents. InterRent is able to collect thousands of pounds worth of food per year through these initiatives.

Summer Friday BBQs

Every Friday in the summer, the staff of InterRent and CLV Group gather for a team BBQ with volunteers grilling and serving the food. 100% of the proceeds raised goes to local charities.

Holiday Events

During the holiday season InterRent and CLV Group participate in a variety of events to give back to the local community. Donations to families in need through the Tree of Stars and Holiday Hamper Program, as well as the Caring & Sharing Exchange are just a few examples of how we spread the holiday cheer.

Resident Appreciation Events

Building a sense of community for our residents is very important to us. Through events such as resident BBQs, coffee and muffin mornings, pizza parties and more our residents get to know each other, as well as the staff who work hard to deliver the highest level of customer care.
